About 90% of my watercolor work is painted with this script liner (right) and small round (left) paintbrush. Without these tools, I would not be able to capture all of the beautiful details of my subjects. My process seems tedious to most, but I absolutely love it! You know that you have found your “style” (or technique) when time disappears and you find yourself absorbed in your work. Pay attention to these moments, and allow them to guide you as you move forward and grow. 🌱
It’s that time of year again, and I am honored to be invited back to the Indianapolis Zoo for their annual Paint Out event! Save the date for April 21st! 15 artists (including myself) will be painting live at the zoo all day. Come say hello, ask questions, and be inspired!
